Machination

Machination - A movie review

A story of love lost, revenge found, but everybody dies! You may think you've seen films like "Machination" time and time over but critics aren't calling it "something else" for no reason. It has already been appraised by RAW and now entrance into the 2014 Twin Cities Film Festival proves Machination is a special one of a kind! It won't take you long to find out why...

I had the privlage of working along side many talented filmakers and actors in bringing this film to life! As Assistant Director and Associate Producer I was able to watch the film unfold in a very indepth way. Although it's normally hard to say what sets a mediocre project apart from a great one, in the case of Machination the difference is crystal clear. Unbound by conventional filmmaking techniques and ideas Machination hits the ground running, and if you're not buckled up and ready to take it on you may very well end up at the finish line wondering what exactly just happened. It's a very bold "no BS" approach to storytelling that we don't get enough of. You have to be sharp, you have to be involved, and you cannot let this half hour simply glide past you. You've got to live the story with these characters while you can! But don't worry, simply put Machination is a roller coaster of hormones and death! And these wonderful actors bring an ugly message fully to life by providing performances that demand attention through suspense, tension, and bad choices.

With Machination you do not get a chance to "know" these charcaters in the common sense because you ALREADY know them before going into it. These charaters are you, me, and those we love dearest. And also those who rip out our hearts to paint a grim, bloody picture of what can happen when people are really pissed off!

It's a message to write home about, something you won't forget anytime soon, and it's coming to a theatre near you!

See the trailer now then go watch this film at 8:45PM TONIGHT to find out for yourself what all the blood is about! Please go to TCFF's website to check pricing and availability.

Quick fun fact about the making of the film: the original working title for Machination was "A Tarantino Amount of Blood" inspired by everyone's favorite blood-bathster himself- Quentin Tarantino!

HIMYM Finale

DRH

So I hear the finale of How I Met Your Mother has been upsetting some of the long time followers, hope this didn't distract from trying to find me in the background. If you didn't see me you should try checking the cutting room floor at FOX, where you'll find me in the Robot vs Wrestler scene. Regardless if I made into the final cut of a tanking chunk of television history or not doesn't matter. Was does matter is the invaluable knowledge I learned while on set, watching ol' Neil and the gang in the flesh for a few hours, and the most important fact- that they paid me!

And congrats to FOX, for HIMYM. Please, try to find me Tuesday April 8th at 8/7c on NCIS.

Also, I just created a new Portfolio page, check back for personal favorite photos! Thank you dear visitors!

A Real "Must Join"

I guess I have no choice but to join the union now...

After working on Loch Ness I'm currently waiting for my paperwork to be processes then I have the choice to either join the union or wait, but for obvious reasons it's only a matter of time! Until then I'm just enjoying my days as a freelance actor.

And thank you to my visitors!

Loch Ness

I sure started Spring off the right way, the hardcore metal-folk way that is Loch Ness- the Web Series! And, boy... What a wonderful all-night-er of filming it was!

With multiple episodes to be covered in just one week, multiple directors, and a full house as our set it was a challenge, but with such great cast and crew the shoot went professionally pleasant throughout the hours of the night.  I enjoyed meeting so many talented filmmakers, most of them from the Midwest.

If you'd like a preview feel free to take a look at the 1st night's production photos via link below.

With the cast of Loch Ness, Josh Saleh and Tom Spath

In other news, a show I back-grounded for in last fall in Minnesota, Dear White People, is being pick up by Lionsgate! Well, that's all for now, thank you for your continued support!

2 Months Strong

Every time you see the full moon, you can have the pleasure in knowing it marks another month since the gang and I left Minnesota for the west coast! Today marks the 2nd month away and with so much already under our belts, I cannot imagine what lies ahead!

California Sunrise
